Tracking & marketing platforms

SK Chase uses Google Analytics in order to track customers’ behaviour on the gift sites that we create.

We also enable integration of marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Meta for purchase conversion.

To enable these on your gift sites, all we need from you are certain codes, which you can share with us in the form at the bottom of this page. Once we’ve added these to your gift site, everything is then fully automated.

Google analytics tracking

SK Chase uses Google Analytics in order to track customers behaviour on the sites that we create.

We do this in a way that enables SK Chase to see data in our Google Analytics master account and that enables you (the venue or marketing agency) to see your gift site data in your own Google Analytics account.

Our GA4 tracking is fully automated. In order to set this up, all we need from you is your GA4 Measurement ID.

Please note, we are not able to add your GTM container, due to performance and security reasons.

What is tracked?

Our enhanced data collection allows detailed ecommerce reporting and user journey analysis across multiple points.

In order to view a list of tracked events, go to the ‘Events’ Report > Engagment > Events

Cross domain tracking

Cross-domain tracking in Google Analytics is a setup that allows GA to recognise the same user as they move between multiple domains you own, treating their journey as one continuous session instead of several separate ones.

This is only required if your gift site runs on a different domain than your website (e.g. myhotel.com and myhotel.skchase.com) and you wish to use the same tracking for both.

You can enable cross-domain tracking in your Google tag settings.

Set up cross-domain measurement via the Admin. Follow these instructions to add domains to your Google tag to enable cross-domain linking

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10071811#setup

Testing your cross-domain setup
Open a page of your site that contains a link or a form that points to a domain you configured for cross-domain measurement.
Click the link.
Verify that the URL in the destination domain contains the linker parameter _gl; for example: https://www.example.com/?_gl=1*abcde5*.

Drop us an email letting us know if you are setting up cross domain tracking as we also have an action to take on our system.

Meta Platforms

We enable integration of Meta for purchase conversion.

To enable this, all we need from you is your Meta Pixel code (formerly called the Facebook Pixel).

Once installed on your gift site, the Meta Pixel can:

  • Track conversions
  • Optimise ads by showing them to people more likely to take action
  • Build custom audiences (e.g., people who visited a page or added to cart)
  • Enable retargeting (show ads to past visitors)
  • Measure ad performance across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

Please note, there are currently two duplicate tags – one called ‘Purchase’ and one called ‘GiftVoucherPurchase’

This enables you to see the data that comes from voucher purchases alone.
