SK Chase has worked with Meldrum House since 2009 as their preferred gift partner and have been privileged to witness their growth journey: gift sales were £23K in 2018 and this has climbed to £269K in 2023 – over a thousand percent increase in sales!

This is due to in part to the vision of the owners, who launched outside luxury dining and bar domes following the pandemic in July 2020. The domes made a huge difference to Meldrum House creating an explosion of sales.

Meldrum House Hotel has the two key ‘cornerstone’ elements for successful selling in place:

  • prominent links to their gift shop from their own website and
  • including and intertwining ‘gift vouchers’ in their overall sales & marketing strategy throughout the year.

 

Their gift experiences are highly giftable with a real ‘wow’ factor, making them wonderful gifts to give and receive for any gifting occasion – for example for birthdays, retirement, thank you and of course Christmas gifts. Through their brilliant marketing, PR, email and social channels, Meldrum House gifts get people talking.

In addition to this, SK Chase and Meldrum House’s marketing team forged a deeper relationship with more connection and engagement, uncovering more growth opportunities, ultimately driving more visits, conversions and revenue via gift vouchers.

    When I joined the business, gift voucher sales were below expectations.  However, we’ve worked hard to market our gift vouchers over the years and the arrival of our four luxury dining domes and Titan Sky Bar, coupled with a new website, just elevated sales massively and created extraordinary demand. We try to create some different experiences at the hotel that perform well as a gift voucher and work closely with the team at SK Chase as to how we feature them on the site.
