Functionality
Functionality is still one of our business focal points. Since our last functionality workshop we are working on getting clear on what the ‘next phase’ of SK Chase looks like. Kaye is back in Edinburgh, where the SK Chase office is based, for the next 5 weeks to connect with the team and spend a lot of time with Steph to define this. It is not all hard work and no play though; she is also hoping to make the most of living in one of the UKs most beautiful and cultural cities.
Social Media –
We’ve been reviewing Social Media at SK Chase, in particular looking at how we can use LinkedIn more. Please take a look at our company page here.
We found out that Google analytics now has a section on social interaction reporting, so you can track user interaction with social media buttons. We’ll be looking into this further and sure we’ll find some very interesting results!
The Art of Application
We are always learning new things here at SK Chase, whether it is through in house training or mentoring, learning from doing (i.e. – dealing with new issues that arise day to day) or from coaching.
February is one of our quieter months, so it gives us an opportunity to improve some of our existing documents and processes by applying our learning’s.
Finance has been looking at ways to use the Think Feel Know framework, we all learned about in coaching, when sending financial summaries to the team and also the wider impact on other finance documents which are produced. This means that everyone can receive the information in the way that suits them making it much more valuable.
And service support have updated the monthly sales reports they produce together with IT making use of IT’s new excel experience which makes the reporting process much more efficient.
Love is in the air.
We hope everyone had a happy Valentine’s Day. It looks like there are many thoughtful people who bought their loved one a luxury gift voucher from our customer’s gift voucher websites; we bet they are in the good books today!
Were you one of the lucky ones to receive a lovely gift voucher for Valentine’s Day?
